48:15 ‘..I have spoken; yes, I have called him. I
will bring him, and he will succeed in his mission.’
The Holy One of Israel calls whom He wills, when
He wills, how He wills. Each of us is
called: not just those with titles, orders or special ministries entrusted to
them. We are, each of us, given a special mission, a special calling. It
unfolds over a lifetime whether short or long. We can trust that such a mission
is revealed only one step at a time. Sometimes we try to strain too far ahead
and see beyond the hills and the twists and turns on the road that lies ahead.
